2017 Honda Accord Changes and Upgrades
After getting a refreshed designed last year that gave it a sportier, more performance inspired look, it is no surprise that there any massive differences between the 2017 Honda Accord and the 2016 Honda Accord. However, there are still a few 2017 Honda Accord changes and upgrades that we think shoppers will enjoy!
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
While the 2016 Honda Accord was the first Honda model to have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available on it, the 2017 model will once again have each of these unique interfaces available. Accessible through the optional HondaLink infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto give drivers a unique way to access functions such as making phone calls, sending messages, accessing apps, streaming music and much more.
New Sport Special Edition Trim
While there were six great trims to choose from in the 2016 Honda Accord, there will be one more available for the 2017 model. That is the Accord Sport Special Edition model, and it will receive unique features including leather seats with red stitching, heated seats, and a “Special Edition” badge on its exterior. We are assuming that this trim will be available in between the Sport and the EX trims.
Honda Sensing Available
Once again, the Honda Sensing suite of driver assist technologies will be available on the 2017 Honda Accord to help drivers avoid potential accidents. These technologies include the Collision Mitigation Braking System, the Lane Departure Warning, the Forward Collision Warning and the Road Departure Mitigation Braking System.
